Well mild ragging is good if taken in the right spirit.for e.g. in my m.b.a. college we give assignments to freshers on their very first day and ask them to complete the assignments on that day itself.Then we make them do power point presentations and ask them questions. This makes them prepare for their m.b.a course and also is a form of mild ragging.

Its not neccessary but mild ragging will be able to bridge the gap between the seniors and new comers in college.Its sad thing that
in most of the colleges ragging is done in worser manner and causes rift between the two.

I will never support ragging as I have very bad experience. Our first day at college hostel, all freshers were told to not wear anything after 9 PM for a month. we were supposed to assemble at one place. We were being asked to masturbate to other boy. One day they tied wieght to my penis and asked me to jump, my balls stared painign and I cried, but they didnt lisem to me. Otehr day I was asked to **** a fellow boy. They tied our wrist to our ankles and made us run. They keep beating our asses as if we were some ponies, At last the winner was fucked by seniors. One day they made all of us hold each other penis and made us run, who ever loses penis of other pesons, gets beating with sticks on his ***. We were purely sex slave. I dont remember how many times I got hurt on my penis and was scared of evening itself. I thought of running away from college, But lots was on stake so I bear all this. I started hating my seniors instead of loving them as some of the people here have suggested. I dont think this is a way to make fresher your friend. Please stop this as this is menace in our society. Year by year this is becoming worse. please stop this.
