After a strong first season in 2003-4, the storylines were weaker in the 2nd. Despite efforts to tighten things up, the show was cancelled after the 2004-5 season due to poor ratings. It was replaced by Ghost Whisperer.
Apparently Amber Tamblyn is no match against Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Didn't you know? It was cancelled some time ago. I just wish those idiots at CBS would bring back "Touched by an angel".
