I think most people are and we'll see that in November when you'll see a change in Congress.

How does this affect you? I agree that they should do things on the legal way, but I do understand also that many of these people are coming looking for what brought all that people who lived and live in America, the chance for a better living for their families, by following the such called "The American Dream" Many of these people leave behind their own families looking for a couple of bucks to sustain their children, many loose their lives trying to goal these dream. They don't take any job away from any body, the job recruiters recruite them as cheaper worker and explode them the maximum paying under the minimum, with no rights as medical plans or social security, Do you know what these bad peolple do? After some time having them working they call inmigration their selves so they don't have to pay them, Isn't this bad before your eyes? These people deserve mercy, remember that all the people who live in the Unet States are "Emigrants Decendants" and the only people who have the real right to be called Americans are the Indians, that wre attacked and moved into reservations. Next time the you hear about "Illegals" were capture remember that has been another "American Dream" that won't become true, and may be means the dead of a little child because his father was cought trying to cross the border. One last point if they buy ciggarettes, acohol, groseries, cars, cooked food, etc. they are paying taxes like you and me, the only difference is that annualy you claim for your taxexs to the IRS or get services at a good hospitals, etc, they can't because thier illegal status, but you are using the taxes they pay for . Who gets more benefits? They are humans.

Everytime they buy gas, they pay taxes. Every time they buy something in my state and county they are paying 5.5% tax on everything but medicines and food. Every time they rent an apartment the landlord has to pay taxes on the income. There are an estimated 2 million illegal immigrants in Chicago alone. Deporting them is impractical. If we really want to reverse the trend we need to improve the economic situation in Central and South America, and then the trend will stop and possibly even reverse. I'll bet a lot of them are awfully homesick, but know that there are more opportunities here, so they come here. And as a guitarist, an instrument that was perfected in Spain, it doesn't bother me a "lick" (pun intended!) to hear some Spanish. My mother majored in it. Does it bother me? Yeah, but have you ever been to children's cancer ward? Its a big problem, but there are even bigger ones.

I live in SE Michigan where there is the highest concentration of Muslims outside the Middle East. Now that is a problem.
Americans have ample opportunity to become well-educated and well-equipped for high-tech jobs which garner high salaries. The problem you allude to would not be such a problem if the American factory workers had struggled more to get a master's degree.

Yes! Remember when you'd see them driving down the road, packed like sardenes, in a old junky car? Now , they drive down the roads, talking on cell phones and driving better cars, the real exspensive ones. Tell me whats wrong with that picture?
