Actually not that easy unfortunately. There are lots of different ways to use the transport network to get there but my recommendation would be to get the Underground from Gloucester Road to Embankment, walk up Charing Cross (200m) and then catch a train to Greenwich. It should take 35-35 minutes.

Alternatively, a far more interesting route would be to get the District Line to Westminster, change onto the Jubilee Line to Canary Wharf and then take the Docklands Light Railway to Greenwhich. Should take about the same time and goes through an interesting part of London.

From there it's a good 10-15 minute walk from the station up a relatively steep hill (for London anyway) and the route is well sign-posted.
