Question is why do you? People spend time on the computer have talks with others find out information work and other reasons but if you are wanting answers for this question you must be sitting in front of one for your Owen reasons so you could most likely answer that your self.

It's because TV is now outdated. This is a great way of communication - of course it doesn't beat person to person relations. And it the way that some people have been brought up. For me, I never had a computer because they didn't have them when I was growing up. We made out own fun, but now I'm making up for all those lost years!

It becomes a habit and they at first like it, but it eventually will eat up all your time. That is why I always do this at night, because I devote the day to my family. I do have to sleep in, however. I am retired, so I can do that. It is fun and I have learned a lot of different things.

its free and broke studying and no job...
Plus being over 30 does not help with the social life as most people are coupled up , boring or too far away...
And ankles a bit mashed needing physio so cant really dance

escapism, boredom and slacking off at work are the usual culprits.
the net is a great invention, possiblly the greatest comunication, information and learning tool of our generation, it's a shame that people abuse it.

I don't know about everyone else but as for me I enjoy it. It entertains me when I need something to do. It's also really fun when I'm high.
