Go to a plastic surgeon near you, so that if there are any complications further down the line, you can go back to them. A good surgeon will have you in for two consultations prior to the operation, an appointment to take off the splint a week after the operation, and an appointment 3 months after the operation to discuss any issues. It was at my 3 month appointment that my surgeon and I agreed that he had left a bump on my nose and arranged for me to go in for a small op to have it removed, all free of charge.

Had I had to travel abroad, I wouldn't have had the thorough aftercare.

Also your GP will probably be able to recommend a good surgeon, and you can check the regulatory bodies. NO COWBOYS. My surgeon was BUPA and he was FANTASTIC, I would highly recommend them, and he told me he had fixed a few botched jobs by cowboy surgeons, who are unhygienic, unskilled and charge too much anyway.

The recovery time is 2 weeks for a major op that involves clipping of cartledge and filing of bone. This is just for the black eyes to go. After one week I had bandages off and could go in public, albeit with black eyes. The scar tissue inside swells and doesn't comletely settle for two years, but this is invisible to the naked eye.

At 15, I knew I wanted a nose job. I didn't do it til I was 24 and I wish I'd done it sooner. However, a good surgeon won't do it til you are a bit older, because your facial bones are still growing, and at 15 you are more insecure (often without good reason) than you will ever be about your looks and you might grow into them.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions please get in touch.

I would say it's definitely cheap to have a nose job in the Philippines but I don't think it's that safe and I don't think the results would be just as good if you had it done in the US by a qualified surgeon.

I mean education in medicine alone, the US is much more advanced so .... yeah, I say it wouldn't be a good idea to do it in the Philippines.

By the way, 15 is too young. Your features still may change as you're still growing.

No, I haven't had a nose job, but I do watch Extreme Makeover. You should definatley have a proffesional do the work, and the proffesionals in that show are in beverly hills.I think it takes about 6 weeks to heal and for the first two days, it hurts like h.e.l.l. I'd doubt that the philippines has the proper items that are up-to-date for surgury. Also, you're to young to have plastic surgery!! You should atleast wait until you are 18.

I know someone who had a nose job a long time ago. When her daughter ended up with a big nose nobody knew where she got it!! I worked for a plastic surgeon. Let me tell you, they don't all turn out the way you want it and it is very painful.

Oh girlfriend, unless you have been in a bad fire and have facial disfigurement for life, you don't need a nose job. Don't waste your money, time, to gain emotional and syciological trauma. Don't go through with it!

your node defines who u r and your character, why would u want to change who u r, unless u have broken your nose and really need it, try to think honestly about it, seriously, think if barbara streisand ever changed her nose, she wouldn't look like the same person tht goes for me tooo
