By reading books and newspaper. Jot down unfamilar words on a exercise book and look it up in the dictionary. Write down the meaning and example. Do also include the words learnt in your daily conversation abd you will have a large range of vocabulary in no time.

Go to the children's section of the library or book store and start with the basics if you are trying to learn to speak a new language. If you are already a literate person pick a word a day out of the dictionary and memorize it, also find a way to work it into your conversations for the day.

write the words on little papers. then you put these papers in little box. When you travelling, when you eating, before slepping you choose a paper from the box and read it. this is very useful for learning vocabulary. In addition you can make a sentence with new vocabulary, use it in the sentece

TV---History channel---Watch news and political TV ---short spurts only. Audio books (classics) will help you with pronunciation of words you don't hear often. The best path to

Please go to page 30 and 31. You will see "Word map".A word map is a form of word study. You should use" Word Map" to learn vocabulary. "Word map" shows you a visual method of expanding your vocabulary. It consists of examining a word in detail by considering its meanings, synonyms, antonyms, parts of speech, word parts, and usages. When you have completed the map, you'l find that you have learned the word and are ready to use it in your speech and writing.
