It is the female expression of the great human question - should we be one of the herd? or should we strive to be individual? Fashion dictates general trends that women can follow to help them look 'normal' or 'in fashion' so that they can feel/be accepted by others in society. But similarly as we want to be recognised as special and individual, it also allows for individual expression (and this is what takes so much bloody time in the bathroom!).

I don't know what following the latest trends or dressing like a clone of some celebrity or fashion model gets a woman, other than looking like every other fashion-obsessed girl. Though, dressing originally, against the norm, or creating your own clothing gives one a sense of individuality and often self-confidence.

women just like to look good so that they can feel good its awsome if a guy says you look nice or sexy today.
