Amnesty International says they should today, they have evidence that they deliberately targeted civilians.... using lazer guided bombs, and destroyed water supplies, power stations, and food stores , against the Geneva convention as well as blowing up oil tanks that will pollute the beaches for 50 years.

I have always thought that the Geneva conventions come out against killing non-combatants (old men, women, children) - See Article 51 para. 2. Deliberately depriving people of food and water is definitely forbidden. We all seem to have forgotten the picture of the girl on the beach whose whole family had been destroyed by an Israeli missile. The Geneva conventions date back to the time after the 2nd World War - one of the reasons for which was Hitler's treatment of the Jews, and one of the results was the creation of the state of Israel. I find these two facts difficult to juxtapose.

Amnesty International have always sided with the Arab nations
The Israeli 's have Never Started These Many Conflict that they are entitle to defend . Civilians where not targeted Hezbollah where firing their missiles from the balconies of peoples homes and unfortunately they had to stop them firing from these positions. Hezbollah were using the road the water supply and the power supply. If the civilians had not cooperated with them Hezbollah terrorist would of shot them as they have no reguard for their own people let alone the Israeli people.

What would you Do if your neighbour kept firing over you garden wall?

Take your blinkers off or do you want to give terrorist a medal for their war crimes?

No! Amnesty Internation is a group that would try a parent for spanking their child. Israel did NOT deliberately target civilians. Hezbollah refused to let the people flee. The pictures that has been shown around the world by the press has been proven to be made up and false.

Israel and America have both had serious breaches of the War Crimes Act.
America has veto power in the UN Security Council and supports Israel.
The Hague has no jurisdiction over American troops, and probably none over Israeli troops either.
But Terrorism is not the solution, mass protest and boycott is.

It could be Venezuela or Cuba next, then who are they coming after?
Like the Catholic Bishop of Warsaw said;
"They came for the homosexuals and I did nothing,
They came for the Gypsies and I did nothing,
They came for the Jews and I did nothing,
When they came for me, there was no-one left to do anything"

Was Amnesty on the Israeli side of the border, weeping for Israel's Arabs under rocket attack by Hezbollah (not to mention Jews)? Amnesty is one of the organisations which are consistently anti-Israel in any case.
Anyway, only Israel? Why does Israel have to be holier than the Pope?
Also, whom are you going to try? The entire country?

A Lebanese civilian Hezbollah member and his wife and daughters were holed up in one of the apartments where rockets were launched - the IAF deliberately targetted the source where the rockets were fired from.... wham!!! they were struck by IAF missiles which brought down the building killing anyone who took refuge within.

Amnesty International members should have placed its members with Hezbollah militiamen and their families; as well as in the northern Israeli towns where rockets rained down killing Israelis... to gather their evidence. They should have done this instead of being one eye blind to present their version of evidence.

With all that technology they blow up the UN building......
Of course they should. Besides the children and old people.
If they are innocent they have nothing to fear have they?
Now that all our oldies are dead they disrespect the rules set in place after WW2. They (our grandparents) saw the full horror of a world war and they set about making sure it never happened again.

I am opposed to trying Israel for war crimes unless you can find a way to bring Hezbollah to justice first.

Then perhaps an investigation by someone other than Amnesty International might be appropriate.

Right now Israel is the lesser of two evils. Let's tackle Hezbollah
first, then get after Israel for war crimes.
