Connect the ariel (coax) into video 1 then to video 2 and then to the TV.
Connect the TV scart 1 to video 1's scart out. connect tv scart 2 to the video2's scart out.

Note that your TV's scarts are input sockets and most videos will have an output socket and an input socket (for recording of digital TV). The video is not recording off the TV, it has it's own tuner that records from the ariel socket or from the input scart.

You don't actually need a TV to record with a VCR as the recorder will have a built in tuner. So you could have the scarts set up however you want. Just plug them in, and select the appropriate AV channel when viewing.

Hi
If you put one on top of the other and put the cable to the top one then a coaxial cable from the out ( on the top one) to the in ( on the bottom one) the put the bottom one on channel 3 and take 1 last coaxial cable from the button ( out ) to the TV ( cable in ) then put your TV on channel 3 you can use either VCR to record anytime ( 1 at a time provided the other is powered down ) and you can also copy your VCR tapes from the top to the bottom recorder this is how I have always set mine up and it works great!

All you may desire to do once you purchase your Freeview HD digital field is in basic terms to unplug the aeriel connection on the lower back of your television and reconnect to the Ariel on the lower back of the Freeview HD field and that's it. although if in case you purchase Freeview HD with equipped in recorder, you may checklist 2 channels and watch a software you have recorded previously or in case you nevertheless choose to video demonstrate e.g The device coach on Channel 5 contained in direction of the 'equipped-in' FreeView on your television then in basic terms connect a cable to the spare socket next to the only the place you reconnected the television aeriel and doing this you do no longer waste the 'equipped-in freeview. A 'close by' television engineer related my BT inventive and prescient field this way for me while i mandatory to re-align my aeriel.

You get an adapter you can get it from Maplan. It has 4 skart sockets. Plug the adapter into the tv and then plug each video into the the adapter. Get a splitter and plug it into the aerial cable then you can plug each video into the aerial. Thus they should work independantly.
