i'm asian and i can't grow my facial hair. does that mean i'll never be a genius.

Some intelligent dudes let their beards and hair grow out, and some don't. A more trustworthy example of a smart guy is the ability to spell, although not always ;).
While some people might want to attract attention with it, it's more likely that they just have more important things to do than shave.
As a woman, I like guys with beards. I like the look and feel of them; beards are soft, but stubble hurts. And not shaving gives a guy more time to spend with his wife/significant other.

Non conformists. When you realize that what society deems right and wrong, how can you not want to do everything in your power to rebut it? Its a screwed up place. The world is cruel to the guy with the honest job, not the bums who skirt life running on a daily basis from his responsibility. When this epiphany hits you, you don't follow the rules any longer. I'm way past this though I'm my life, Ive figured all this out a long time ago.

Onlu mathemiticians (or someone interested in psycholigical type stuff) do it, because they acid. Look up Dr. Shulgin and they jsut are like "yeah he was totally rad man and he was trippin as hard as us .. so yeah lets grow our hair out maaaaaaaaaan" ... i would know ive always wanted hair like those dudes :(
