another religion, or under no religion at all?

It will never happen. People would kill to prevent this from happening. And if I am forced to live under the servitude of a Christian theocracy its just as bad as any other theocracy. Give me freedom of thought any day of the week. Anything less and I will pull a Nelson Mandela and take up arms against my oppressors, but as it will never happen I don't have to worry about it... do I?

One world government under any religion would mean different treatment for those who not of that religion. This would lead to prejudice and persecution. Yes, I think even if the buddhists were in charge, we'd have persecution since I don't believe everyone can eliminate greed from their lives.

We'd have to go with no religion, that would end religious wars. I don't think that religion would be outlawed, just no religion would be shown preference over any others in the eyes of the government... which is a good thing.

I dont see how one world government could ever be run by a religion. There would be too much fighting.
There could be no deciding which Christian religion would be the governing body even. Too much fighting amongst those.

Wanna start a war? Just try to rule the world as a religion.

no religion at all as a ruling factor in government. But if we had to live under a "world government" I would rather have it be influenced by Christianity then say Islam. But I would rather not see a "world government" in any shape or form.

The only way I'd accept a one world government is if the Bill of Rights is still in place for everyone. Otherwise, no deal.

I hate the idea of world government with any religious profile, never mind which religion.

that idea will never happen. there's too many groups, social classes, institutions, individuals u name it that which believes in various types of religions and some not having any belief at all. how can u explain my christian azz conversion to islam? it'll never happen b/c i do not believe in its message. or how can i pay attention to haters that have no spiritual message when i need jesus in my life??? to answer your question a world government dictating to stick to their kind of religion or none at all is the worse thing in the world, unequal, and unacceptable to me.

I can think of so many things I disagree with here... When I hear "world government" my first thought is oppression. When I hear religion mixed with politics I think "hypocrisy".
I'd have to say that would be unacceptable to me.
