there are at least 2 species of dragon still alive. The Komodo and the Chinese Water Dragon. Oh and the bearded dragon. 3, 3 species of dragon still alive ha-ha-ha

Dragons are not extinct. They are just living in solitude and are hiding away from mans evil warlike ways. They maybe endangered because of many reasons like.
:inbreading: The more a specie of animal inbreads the less likely their immune system will evolve and thats bad news. Just look at cheetahs.
Humans: Humans kill what they dont understand.
solitude: If dragons are hiding from man then they will have difficulty in finding a mate.
Pollution: lets see you trying to live in a very dirty polluted world and live.

May be the change in climate change wiped them out too like the dinosaurs.
You probably saw the show(Dragons:A fantasy made real) on Discovery or Animal Planet.
I too strongly believe that dragons did exist.There can be so many regions:
1.MAN,of course.
2.Maybe dragons were not so large as believed.They could have become preys of the higher mammals(tigers and lions).
3.Abnormally high number of males and less females(or vice versa)
Anyway,the Komodo still carries on the flag.Lets hope for its survival.

Hi K,,, there is no actual proof there ever was such a thing as dragons like we know them,,, or Unicorns,, but they are mentioned in the Bible i think??

They are not extinct, just endangered. Their habitat, the imagination, is at risk of disappearing.
