The company is Focus International Marketing..... am in the process of a second interview with them... requires starting out in sales, but working through the ranks for management/leadership roles.

This is a new industry for me, as I am changing career paths, so only know what I read on the website, and from the 1st interview.

Also, sales are based solely on commission from what I can gather (working at stalls in shopping centres, at expos, trade shows etc).... just how hard is it to make sales (I am a little worried about meeting financial obligations)

I agree with RM.If you are prepared to the hard sell then go for it. You will not make any friends and if you are salary dependant, dont go there at all. If you want a regular income, then sales in this day nand age is not the way to go.I have never heard of Focus. Also ask yourself, "If I was approached by a saleperson from this company asking me to buy whateverr they are selling, would I buy it?"

from what you have said, I would suggest going somewhere else unless you are financially driven as you need to be a quite a forceful person to sell things that people dont necessarily need, especially giving that it is commission based.
Good luck with it hey.
