When I ask a question, I read all the answers to the end because I appreciate that someone took their time to consider my question. When I read the questions that other people answer, I usually don't read the whole answer if it is really long.

More likely to read a long answer than to struggle through a long question that is full of run-on sentences, misspelled words and terrible punctuation! But that's just me...

Yes. But I'm trying to curb my own instinct to give longer answers, because I sense they do not hold the attention of the vast majority of readers.
