botox is for the rest of the face. collagen is for the lips. it only hurts when it's injected. botox paralyzes the nerves on your face creating a smooth and 'paralyzed' texture to the skin. it's expensive and can last for 3-5 months, depending on the person. collagen is more like a filling for the lips (creating a more thick texture) and can last about 3 months.

When you say for lips, do you mean for lip lines? It can help you to stop puckering your lips, but I probably wouldn't recommend it as this could affect your speech.
If you meant to fill your lips, this is not the purpose of botox. You would want to look at possible fillers including restylane and collagen. Yes, the injections do hurt quite a bit, although they often use a local anaesthetic, as the lips are quite a sensitive area.

you can do it on lips? Well, I suppose it should hurt a little bit because they use a needle in the injection of botox.

It's not for lips. And I would not bother with it. It can be dangerous (allergic reactions) and it's a temporary fix at best. Skip the Botox.
