The word “interview” itself makes a person tense and nervous who needs to appear in the interview. It is normal human behaviour to become confused or get tensed but such things can be overcome with practice, learning from seniors and elders, thru own experience. At my time internet was not available. These days Internet is a rich source of information. U can learn many things about the interview by visiting the websites the links of which are given below. On some websites u will find questions also along with answers which are frequently asked and questions pertaining to ur requirement can also be found there provided u surf on them thoroughly and consciously. It will improve ur performance remarkably. If will infuse a high level of confidence in u. It will make u more frank and it will develop diplomatic qualities in u too. Overall, I would say that it will give an impetus to ur personality development.

Ok lets try a serious answer to this one... You are correct you don't wanna put yourself down! Try answering something like: Well I don't see myself as having weaknesses only opportunities to learn and grow more from something I may not do well. Or- I do not consider a supposed weakness a weakness as I see it as an area I need to improve upon and learn from. Ok that sounded kind of lawyerish lol, but seriously I think it shows your desire to do well and grow from something you may not have a strength in. It's hard to give a detailed or more detailed answer as there isn't enough info...what kind of job and what would you consider a weakness of yours? reguardless I wish you well I know the feeling as I get to test for a new position next week myself! PS: I wouldn't say you're a perfectionist as it could come off sounded conceited for starters, also lying is never good as you'll almost always get caught. Again more info would be good but after reading some of the responses wanted to comment on the whole perfectionist thing...oh also saying you are is like holding a stick of lit dynamite and hoping it won't go off unless you are indeed a perfectionist because saying that they will see right off if you are or are not! Again G'Luck!

Usually when they ask about salary I ask about the position and what job duties it entails and the base salary of someone in that position. Then if you have some skill in the type of job already you can choose to add a little more to the base salary or not.

Be prepared with something that really is a weakness, but phrase it positively.
Do your research about the salary and name a number that is near the average starting salary you found for that industry.

Do the humble complement. Say, wow...I care so much about my work that sometimes I forget to tend to my family. But don't lie. I don't want your interviewers hiring someone lazy, irresponsible etc. OR just confidently admit your weaknesses, but say what you are doing in the mean time to improve them. Look them in the eye and sit up straight when you say it. If you weren't thinking about improving your significant weakness, then you've got some thinking to do.

Once i start a job i find it hard to leave it until i have finished it
Mention that you are highly experienced and professional and that you expect to earn a salary accordingly before you mention any figures.

Tell them your only weakness is that you don't appear as great as you really are in interviews.
Whatever salary you expect, don't say it. Write it down on a piece of paper and hand it to him/her.

do research on the average paygrade for the position you are applying for so have a good idea on what you want to negotiate for. Too low, you are undermining yourself and they will know, too high and they won't give you a second glance.. you want right about the middle for leverage. As for weaknesses, turn them into positives as like, "I have trouble finishing things past the deadlines given". I tend to be consistant with my work.. etc... turn your negatives into positives but be realistic and don't go overboard as people will see right thru you! Good luck!

Yea, that can be kind of tricky, but you can get past it by saying:
1--My greatest weakness is that I just seem to care too much about my job. OR
2--My greatest weakness is also my strongest asset--I'm a work-a-holic!!!!
Good Luck!!
