They are pretty much the same except swapping is usually with one couple while swinging is with a group.

swinging and swapping is the same thing, often refered to as the lifestyle. After talking to people in India that are active in the lifestyle, it is done the same as here in the US, only not hidden quite as much.

Yes it is same and it exist in the the very upper class or very lower class of indian society.
Upper class do it in american style
Lover class do it for money or favour.
