Well, if you're talking about an 1803 "nickel", then that doesn't exist because "Nickels" were not minted until 1866. But if you're talking about an 1803 half dime, then I can tell you what it's worth (if you're just able to find one on the street,LOL). In AG-3, the Large Date version is worth around 350 dollars; the Small Date version in AG-3 is worth around 400 dollars. But, in Choice Unc. (MS-63), the Large Date version is worth a good 16,000 dollars and the Small Date version of the 1803 half dime is worth a whopping 17,500 dollars. I hope that answered your question well. :)
Also, one more thing is that if you are really talking about the 2003/2004 nickel that talks about the 200th anniversary (1803-2003) of the Lewis and Clark expedition, then it's just worth 5 cents. But on one condition, if you find one for at least in MS-66 then you can maybe pull off selling it for about 50 cents!

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/EngYd
Depending on the condition it can be worth up to $5,000. Don't mail it in. Deal with a reputable coin dealer & check the references.
