yes mine did n now also it has not gone inside like what i had before my pregnancy.
i think it depend on the size of the baby .
if the size of baby is large ur stomach will be streched to its full level n belly button pops out.
i don't think it is having any relation with the gender of the baby.
i have a baby girl ---she is now 18 months.
she was 4 kg's when born n i got 12 kg of weight gain during my pregnancy.
some people say if u drink lot of water after ur delivery then also belly button pops out but i don't think it is true as i didn't drink much n even then i have.
i hope this will help u.

Yes your belly button kinda slowly pops out. I thought it was funny when mine did. It is just a part of pregnancy, that every women goes through. It doesn't hurt, and it goes back to normal after the baby is born. I have never heard of a belly button popper preventer, and I dont see how it would work since your stomach streches during pregnany, and so will the belly button

Well, I'm 6 months pregnant now and haven't gotten in for that ultrasound yet - so I don't know if it's boy or girl. My belly button does pop out usually around 8 months or so. Now that I'm on the third pregnancy - there's more fat deposits on my belly so at 6 months it's like a little pit. I really don't think you can judge the gender based on your belly button. I think what your belly button does depends on if you normally have an innie or an outie or something like that.

depends on the belly and the button. a shallow button is more likely to pop than a deep one. I've had 3 full term pregnancies and didn't pop at all. Not something to be worried about, they go back to normal after a while. I've had 2 boys and 1 girl.

Nope, no popping out at all. My belly ring is still in!
I'm at 36wks and I'm having a boy.
P.S. I agree with those who said it has to do with the depth of the belly button pre-pregnancy. A shallow one is much more likely to 'pop' than a deep one.
I am stretched out like all get out and the doc keeps saying it's a big baby so I don't think it has to do with that. I can't see how gender would make a difference one way or the other.

Hi, I have a super deep innie and I never thought my belly button would pop but by my 7th month it started to pop and by my 8th month it was completely pushed out to the maximum. It was really sensitive at first and I hated it when It was touched but now its fine. I am pregnant with a girl and my belly is measuring small. Right now I am in my ninth month.

I don't remember when it did, but it doesn't do so because of the baby's gender. It does so because of the size of the belly. You could be having a big girl or a long boy and it would still pop out.
My sister-in-laws belly button popped out with both her girls, and mine popped out with my son.

Hi,
My belly button started popping out from the 7th month onwards. Before that, I was very much an innie...
I gave birth to a baby boy who is 14 mths old now. You can see his cute pics of him having fun in the shower at http://verityy.blogspot.com

I can for some people late in pregnancy.
It doesn't for everybody. It probably depends on how big the woman gets, whether that's big because of a big baby or big because of a lot of weight gain.
This isn't a medical opinion, but it seems that small babies and weight gains of 25 lbs or less don't make that happen.

My sister in law has a son and hers never did, and she's 2 1/2 weeks pregnant. I personally am hoping she has a girl.
