Needs to be a glue/epoxy. Headlight mount bracket on a 2004 Toyota. some type of polymer, and super glue (cyanoacrylate) won't bond to it.

One thing that crossed my mind, is to put an adhesive label (like tape) onto the surfaces, and then glue the intermediate piece to the adhesive labels. However, on this situation, I have limited surface area, and cannot do that.

There is another one called PLASTIC STEAL its a combination of two chemicals google for it in your local pages i use it ;)

Different kinds of epoxy are for particular materials. Just check the labels. If the surface you'll apply the adhesive on is smooth, you could sand it a little for better sticking.

i used a poxy that comes in a syringe but for got the name,you should be able to find something in a hardware or department store
