I just recently bought Oil Fre Neutrogena Acne wash. I have been using it for a few days when i realized that on my forehead i was breaking out with these tiny bumps kinda like clogged pores i guess. Which leads me to ask why is this happening and has it happend to anyone else before?

Neutrogena is ok for mild acne. Try the benzol peroxide and try getting a scub towel. Lightly scrub all the grime off when washing your face. If you want to use something more expensive, go get this acne kit from Shiseido. They sell it at robinsons may. The kit costs like 80 bucks but it's worth it. The little bumps usually go away if you scrub lightly. Trust me, I have acne but with good care, it can be controlled. My face is freakin clean now. O yea and don't use lotions on your face unless they are specified for facial use. The oil clogs the pores. Don't ever go to sleep w/o washing your face either. Some people think the expensive stuff is thesame as the cheap stuff. It's really not. The mosturizers and washes are made so that they open up your pores. As long as you find a product that's reputable. Shiseido is a japanese company and they specialize in facial products. Really good stuff because your pimples literally just fall out after you wash your face.

Use Pro-Active. Its Likely to Work Faster And Actually Work. But If I Were You, Dont By Any Expensive Acne Washes Because They All Contain The Same Ingredients. Its The Name That People Look For Which Makes The Product Also More Pricey.

Did you just switch to it or have you been using it for a long time? Neutrogena is the only thing other than Proactive that has helped me. The last time, I bought some store brand version of the Neutrogena and I had the same thing happen...so I wonder if it's because you switched products???

Neutrogena is generally a very good and safe brand to use. The little bumps on your forehead are called comedones. They can be caused from hair products, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, make up. Make sure all of the products that touch your face are "noncomedogenic". That means they won't cause acne. :)
