Can you suggest someone else who can help him? It seems mean to just drop him after you offered to tutor. If you can provide a substitute, that would help. Or maybe you can continue for a couple of months?

One way to do it is tell her the truth. But since you don't seem to want to go that way you could tell her that before you didn't realize it but now you really don't have the extra time because of other things going on in your life whether it be school, some type of practice, work, things like that. Or you could explain to her that you really want to tutor him, but your studies have gotten to hard for you and you need to spend more time on them. The best way is to explain that you don't have ENOUGH time right now to tutor him.

Go to her in the morning and say who am I and where do I belong. (pretending that your had a memory loss in the night).
But, seriously speaking I'll prefer you keep on coaching and believe me if he suceeds or performs better you will be more than happy and wont regret it.

i think you should tutor him until you find another tutor for him
and just say that you are going to be busy and that you are not sure if you will be able to help everytime so that it will be best to find another tutor but stay with him until you do

Find him another tutor. Don't make commitments you are too lazy to fulfill. Refund his money.

the best excuse would be that something (like work) came up and you are too busy to help him anymore
