Tats are for life. It should be something that means something to you . And the placement is important as well. There is one thing you should consider though, If you get your tat on the lower back and you for some reason get pregnant in the future, some doctors wont allow you to get an epidural ( the good drugs!!) to help you deliver your baby! So just keep that in mind and i hope you find that perfect tat that suits you!!!

I would not be so worried about where. What you are planning on getting is most important. You might not want to do something crazy though, like on top of the foot or somewhere else very painful. You might want to start somewhere where it will usually be covered, if you are not sure. I have four of them, one on the inside of my ankle, one on the lower half of my leg, one on the back of my shoulder and one on my um, chest. The last out of the four hurts the least.

Get ur first tattoo somewhere u can conceal if u have to or wish. U NEED that option should it arise. U if ur a girl, u should get it on ur lower back...u know, where ur waist slims down. U should get a butterfly. First tatoo...it provides full coverage of ur lower back, and it symbolizes freedom(atleast to me).

I just wanted to add that guys don't seem to like the tattoo just over the girls *** anymore. They are old and stale, and everywhere now. The trend has been played out.
If you are getting it right over your ***, are you really getting it for you? or for the guys?
- maybe reconsider the tattoo completely.

depends on how many people you want to see it. There may be times, if it's on your upper back, where you don't want it seen. Just a thought. Something pretty. On girls, anything else, unless meaningful, tends to look butchy.(skulls and stuff)

if your not sure, maybe you should not get one... a tattoo is a personal thing, not something you should ask total strangers to help you out with... you have to live with it the rest of your life and what you get should be something you thought long and hard about...

Get it wherever it will look the least embarrassing when you are old and all wrinkled up.
