Simply put, people lie, the more people involved, the more likely you are to have to deal with ignorance, stupidity, or outright deception and lying.

If the trust is absolute, then there's no reason why a group of completely disease free individuals cannot have free sex with wild abandon but you are trusting that multiple individuals can and will remain faithful.

How exactly do you know they aren't infected? Sometimes HIV doesn't show up on a test for years, plus people lie about having been tested just to get some booty. If you really want to trust your life with someones word, then knock yourself out. You cannot get HIV if someone is not positve for the virus.

Oh yeah, and you can get full blown AIDS from HIV faster than 8-10 years... a relative died from AIDS at a young age and the HIV virus could have only possibly been present for 3 years. There is much more proof.

You don't know for sure if the partners you have are uninfected or not. In fact, most of the people who are HIV positive don't know it themselves and they keep on having sex for many, many years till they begin to have get sex and find out that they now have AIDS. By that time, they've given it to many, many partners (who were uninfected at the time) along the years. So now the problem is greatly multiplied and instead of just their partner having had it, now they've given it to dozens of people. That's why monogamy is best.

First, acquiring STD or HIV with different people, and I mean PEOPLE, is something that will really bother me, and not the means by which I will acquire the disease.

What you should be asking your self is, why do you wanna have sex with PEOPLE? Does it mean you are not contented with a single sex partner?

Second, whether these people are infected or not, you are still putting yourself at high risk of acquiring the disease given the number of persons you would like to engage in sex with.

Whether it be one time or in orgy, it's all the same - you are bound to get sick if you do not protect yourself.

So condoms will initially prevent you from acquiring it. But I think what you should really look into is the concept of having sex with different people and acquiring the disease from them - whether uninfected or not.

The point here is, when we say "stick to one," it clearly means that you are to engage in sexual activities with only a single partner. This way, you can easily eliminate the possibility of acquiring STDs because you know that neither of you is infected with it.

This will consequently lead to your peace of mind not having to go to the doctor to check on your wiener if it'll soon fall off or not. Because you know that you are engaging responsibly in sexual activities with one partner only.

People can be infected with STDs without knowing it. Many women, for example, have chlamydia infections without any symptoms for a long time. People can have the AIDS virus (HIV) for as long as ten years without having symptoms, but you still can get infected from them, and then you pass the disease along to all your future partners.

If you feel you must have sex with many people, then at least use a condom every time. It's not totally safe, but it's certainly better than nothing.

if you are certain that they are uninfected then no; but if these people are not known to you then there is a possibility because blood tests don't show HIV positivity for at least 6 months since getting the infection

get your blood checked out if you are worried

some people do not know that they are infected it can up to ten years for hiv/aids to show up in your system and just cause you think some one doesnt have aids the might or they could be a carrier of it. You should always use protection when you have sex with some one whether its the same person or many people always protect yourself just in case

And how do you know these people are not infected. Do you just ask them , take their word for it or just believe that they say they are clean. Hiv can take up to six months to really show up. How do you feel about herpes. Like herpes, It is a non cureable std. The only real sure way is to get a drs.note from blood tests. Six months old and clean and knowing that the more recent blood test is from someone who was with someone else clean. Do you want to take a chance? It's your life you are messing with and future partners of yours. Sharon11

Ask anyone about their HIV status and they will say I am negative. Nobody carries their test results in their pockets. So that's why they say stick to one.

And no, no HIV is transmitted From contact with uninfected partners.

No, but you will not know if the person is infected. You can not tell by income, social status, or any thing unless the person agrees to be tested before sex.
