Absolutely it is!
King and TWO Bishops vs a lone King is actually a pretty easy mate to learn, once you've done it once or twice...
King, Bishop and Knight against King is a more difficult mate to force, but it can be done as well.
A King and a single Bishop can not check mate a lone King...it could theortically mate an opposing King if that King were trapped by its own pieces.
Here's one example of how to mate with a king and two bishops vs a lone king.

Yes but you have only 50 moves (for both sides) to do so or the game is drawn (50 since the last piece was taken)
It is also possible (but harder) with King Bishop and Knight against a bare king
King and 2 Knights against bare king: Mate cannot be forced, though the player with the bare king could blunder of course,

of course a king & bishop on my own never checkmate . Checkmate could desire to be a minimum of achieved by opponent,s ( Bishop + Knight ) and to tension opponent,s king circulate in the direction of the nook which sq. with comparable shade of the bishop you have on the borad , you may desire to coach directly to be a solid chess participant . 2 knights never checkmate & 2 bishops do rather .

Yes it is possible: you will have to force the enemy king into a corner, pin him with your king, set up your bishops without stalemating him, and mate him when he move into the very corner of the board.

Sure it is. Hell, you can do it with just a bishop! Have the opposing king at h8, one of his pawns at h7, and one of his bishops at g8. Then attack him with your bishop, at say b2. He's screwed.

To the person who said it's not possible, I'd love to play you and add you to the list of my defeated opponents. to all else, i agree it is possible though difficult to do with the limited amount of moves.
