No.. it's not for 12 year olds. But... that's way you can find right now a lot of music genres! Different people enjoy different music. We can't blaime anybody for listening to another genre than ours. That's my opinion... that we should respect all musicians. Why? because almost all of them worked hard!

my twelve year old appreciates music in all forms she listens to cranberries, nofx,sting,chris brown,dixie chicks,madonna,johnny cash, george strait, toby keith, guns and roses, whitney houston alicia keyes, and the list goes on and on, james blunt aint one of my favorites but i will listen, sometimes trash is another persons treasure LOL
