not my place.
I'm not the cops.
I don't get involved.
now it would be different if they were hurting someone.
then I would ACT.
but for theft....
why be a hero?
I could get knifed or something, for crying out loud!

Wow! This happened to me just a few moments ago.I was in Wal-mart and was at the fresh foods section, these people who looked like they had just come off a week-end drug benge, were just picking up,grapes, mango slices, carrots, pineapple, melons, and just stuffing they mouths full.I was mortified. But then I saw the girl down at the other end,who was working ther and putting out fresh veggies, and was ignoring them.So I decided not to say anything for fear I could not prove it,they had destroyed the evidence.I went home without saying anything and believe that to be the best thing because as crazy as some are in the state of their economical condition they may have attack me and there could have been a long drawn out court process. But I really cannot get this out of my head, and would have said something, but that was not my job.PEACE!!

I'd alert the nearest store personnel. One of the reasons they charge so much money for things is that stores have to recoup the money lost on stolen items. If I let someone else get away with that - it's only hurting myself in having to pay more for what I need or want to make up for it. It's also simply the right thing to do - like turning in a wallet you found with alot of cash in it.

It depends on the goods they stole. If I wanted it, I would follow them and intimidate the hell out of them until they give it up and it is now mine. Heh, heh! Hey, I didn't steal it from the store. I just stole it from the thief! Ya' gotta appreciate the ironic justice there.

I would stay as far away from them as possible and say nothing to anyone except maybe if a store employee happened to walk by as a coincidence then maybe. It is not my job to do that kind of thing and if you want to get hurt then butt into someone commiting a crime.

Say something! After all, if I don't, I will feel guilty and who knows, I ( or one of my loved ones) may be the next victim!

I'd tell someone who worked at the store. I'm a snitch and proud of it!

I'd have to say something because I'd feel bad if I didn't.
