Here is the official information direct from the official website of Greece. You do not need a visa for travel from the US to Greece for up to 3 months. Go to http://www.greekembassy.org/Embassy/content/en/Article.aspx?office=1&folder=28&article=93&hilite=visa for confirmation.
On that same site, you will find that you are required to have travel insurance. For that purpose, go to http://www.wavehelp.com/travel-medical/index.htm and click on the red phone booth to read about "Worldwide Health" insurance from the industry leader, TravelGuard International. I recommend them wholeheartedly for insurance that is not only inexpensive but really good - just what you will need if things go bad. You can easily buy on-line.
I recommend that you avoid even the remote possibility of conflict of interest by getting your travel insurance independently of your transport arrangements.
Best wishes.

Hi,,,, look up Greece on the internet,, there should be a site that can tell you what you need to know....
I travel all over and I believe that you may not need an actual visa,, per se,, but if you do,, they will probably assign it to you ,, with some cost at the air port when you go thru customs....
I never heard of one required off hand though.....
good luck
