Is life what you make of it?

To a certain extent it is, but to what extent is dependent upon your circumstances. We all have our own gifts and talents that we can use and there many examples of people who've had had bad childhoods and lead good lives. Where did I here that phrases recently?

Sometimes all we need is to ask God: "On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete."

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity, all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illness or relationships, life. People you meet who effect your life and the successes and downfalls you experience, they are the ones who create who you are. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. Those lessons are the hardest and probably the most important ones to learn from. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to. If someone loves you, Love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never see or felt without them. Make everyday count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people you have never talk to before, and actually listen, let yourself fall in Love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either. So, yes you can make your life anything you wish.

What you make out it is not life when you go contrary to what you are made to be in life. Just like machines work according to instructions given to them by the maker, also humans function like machine, though some are ignorant of the forces controlling them. Some are made to be bad, while some are made to be good just like Pharoah and Moses in the bible. Thinking of something when what you are thinking is not in accordance with the rules placed in your life.
