I am talking about the periods that the girls have to face every month. I think it is a barrier for them. What will be the problem if the girls have no period?

if we had no period, then there would be no new life and then the human race would just die off and vanish, unless people were grew in labs or cloning, but that would be odd!
chick there are 4 weeks in a month not 5........ whats ur deal???

No girl likes having her period! It is a inconvenience when we want to ummmm have sex or do other things that cannot be done during that time. Some girls even experience alot of bad cramping during their period too. NONE of us like them! BUT if we dont have a period- we cannot have a baby! So its well worth the price of a period every month when you hold your baby in your arms and he squeezes and hangs on to your finger for dear life! Gotta take the bad with the good!

Yes its difficult plus it hurts! but girls need to have periods for a variety of reasons. they need at least 3 or 4 periods a year. there's some birth control that lets them only have it 4 times a year. ex. its some new pills called the 3 month pills that allow them to be on birth control for 3 months then have a period. usually the only time when girls don't have periods is when they're on birth control,pregnant or have irregular periods.

It's no barrier and no issue. It is an experience that is uniquely female which is, in a way, rather cool.
I don't know what calendar Adriana uses but my months are still only 4 weeks long, not 5... lol.

well, it would be impossible for them to become pregnant.
but say they were able to become pregnant without a period, the baby would not be likely to survive the full 9 months because what comes out in a womans period is what cushions the fetus in the womb so without a cushion, even the slightest bump on a pregnant woman's stomach would harm and maybe even kill the fetus. so you see, something so horrible can actually be a good thing - even life saving!

well, you get used to it - b/c pills such as seasonal limit the period to 4 times a year but not enough research has been done to know the long term effects of it - I for one am glad I had it , I have a wonderful little girl but I am quite sure I do not need it for the next 20 years

having a period is a woman's way of cleaning out their body. it is very necessary to reamin healthy. although it definitely is a big hassle, having it for a while almost makes you get used to it! but it's only one week out of a month, we have four others to do what we want =]
