I KNOW THIS ONE!
Back in the day when I was spun and up for days at a time I went into a 7-11 in the middle of the night just to look around for something to spend some money on while I was tweeking, well I guess I was spooky cause the cashier asked me to see if there was some guy outside by the payphone and then LOCKED ME OUT AND CALLED THE COPS CAUSE I WAS SCARING HER!

Haha, you're so clever. Like we haven't heard that one before.
I did wonder that about the post office, with PO boxes and all. The one near my house is always open, even if people aren't there. Then I looked, and there were no locks. Have you actually looked at your 7/11? (There aren't any where I live)

I'm sure its to protect themselves if they ever needed to remodel or paint or if a crazy person was outside... or from a wild loose animals or if the city announced a curfew for whatever national emergency...
I suppose ... right?

So they can lock up after they've been robbed in the middle of the night when the meth users can't sleep.
