be confident, do not try too hard to impress others.
do not look down on other people.
do not make fun of other people.
help others when you can.
and normally, when you try too hard, it will back fire. I have been in your shoes and the outcome is not pretty. So be yourself. If the cool crowd are not impressed when you are being yourself, then look for other friends who love you the way you are.
Remember, it's not the number of friends you have that matters, it is the quality of the friendship that is more important.

Are you trying to impress "others" as in everyone or someone who is important to you that you want to impress them so they will like you? Either way, after you have found a way to make a good first impression, will you be able to uphold to this standard that you have created of yourself? Be yourself and if that is not good enough for whoever than they are probably not worth trying to impress.

In my opinion, you should'nt give a rat's patooty if people are impressed by you or not. Be yourself and the people that do and will matter in your life will appreciate you.
If anyone need syou to be different than who you naturally are, then I don't think you need they're validation.
If you're happy with yourself, life will be fine and life couldn't get better. If you hate yourself, but are loved by many life still couldn't get any better, but not in a good way.

Do that thing where you run up a wall or tree and then backflip back to the ground. So cool! Or do a Rubix Cube in less than 20 seconds. I saw it on U-Tube tonight. Girls love guys with skills.

Find out what impresses them. Not everyone is impressed by the same things.
Find out what they like and dominate it.

be clean in hygiene ,neat in apperance, hair groomed ,teeth well taken care of ,smell good, clothes clean,pressed,and good sense of self and career goals in pursuit not just talking but a person of action..
