as to what I should do with it? I didn't look at it that close, but it says something about Boston / pitcher on the front.

You can try to find the original owner or take it to a baseball card appraiser anf then either sell it or pass it down as an heirloom

It sounds pretty old and faded. It might even have those nasty paper-mites; I'd just get rid of it.

Maybe you can trade it for a shiny new card! Or just keep using it for a bookmark, and maybe to pick your teeth if you don't mind the paper-mites.

It all depends on who owns the book. It sounds like a valuable card.

Obviously keep it, and if you have a fascinantion for baseball take it in, have it graded and hold on to it. If you're not that fascinated, research the card, then sell it.

Get it appraised immediately. Handle it with gloves on & don't let it out of your sight. It's likely worth several thousand dollars.
