My husband turns 26 in September. I want to do something special for him but I don't know what. At the moment we are tight on money so I can't go and buy him something. He loves music specially his guitar. Is there something I can do to make his birthday super special? and to show that i care and love him heaps?

My husband and I have been broke for 2 years of birthdays and xmas. I can tell you when you love someone, presents don't mean a thing. Know what we do for xmas? We pick 3 items that are already in the house (in secret from each other) and wrap them up and give them to one another and we try to guess what they are before we open them. We have done this for 2 xmas now and I love it and so do our friends and family. it's so cute and funny. And that's all we give each other, and frankly now we have a bit more money, I still don't want bought presents. He's my husband, we take care of each other all year. I got a huge box the other year, couldn't figure out what is was, it was the yellow pages :)

Try something cute like that. HANDMAKE him a sweet bday card, some LOVE coupons - use glitter-get creative it's fun, pack a neat lil picnic with some wine, candles, his favorite food, DESSERT of strawberries and chocolate or something like it, and bring a lil boom box, play some of his favorite music and lay out under the stars together, talking and enjoying each other. Give him a massage, kiss him all over.
Trust me, he will appreciate that and remember it WAY more than another MATERIAL thing. Gifts are what we GIVE people, why can't the gift be OURSELVES and our love and our time? The world really needs to change how it views special. Special is what you make it.Good luck and god bless and happy bday to him!

If you had a 23 million bucks and bought him a yacht, but didn't really love him, it might seem special to him for a while; maybe not. If you only buy him an ivory guitar pick for $10 from eBay with a great deal of your love (plus a great shag!) he'll remember 'the gift' forever. It ain't the money you spend, it's the heart you share and give.

maybe you ought to get her a contemporary certificates for a nail trimming or pedicure if she's into that form of ingredient. How bout make her a basket with stuff she likes in it (try the dollar keep for baskets, candles, knick knacks and such) you ought to place 3 tiny airplane bottles of a few liquor in it. Take her out to dinner. you may never bypass incorrect with present certificates so she could desire to purchase her very own cd's, video clips, outfits, etc. Or once you're desperate, chilly complicated money and a card works everytime (even if impersonal, and an user-friendly way out) hi, even a gasoline card! situations are complicated for a 21 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous. How bout an low fee indoor waterfall?

do you play the guitar also? my father-in-law wrote a song for my mother-in-law (when i heard it, it made me all teary eyed). so if you do play, try writing him a song (it doesn't matter if it was good or bad, he will appreciate the fact that you wrote it).

i always believe a gift that is handmade is more special than anything bought because you were thinking of about him while you were planning it, you were thinking of him while making it, and you were thinking of him while giving it to him. so, i really suggest making something and be creative!

Take him to a live band night club and check ahead of time if he can play a couple of songs with them. Of course you are going to have to do your homework and find out the songs your hubby can play with confidence and take his guitar ahead of time or hide it as you to to the place. I like that idea!

Make a special dinner w/ candlelights and romantic music, surprise him after dinner w/ a little dance and maybe then strip tease for him and you should take it from there. that way he will always remember the b-day you prepared a romantic dinner and strip teased for him...make it memorable. good luck!!!

How about getting him a personalized guitar strap with his name on it or something. I think he would dig that and that wouldn't be to expensive and if you hurry it could be back by Sept.

Try hear www.guitargifts4u.com
