I heard tonight on The Science channel that the sun is 150 million kilometers away from the earth. I guess you would need to know how fast a space shuttle travels.

I know we wouldn't ever fly a space shuttle to the sun, I just mainly wanted to know how long it would take for the space shuttle to travel 150,000,000 kilometers.

The biggest problem would be , because it is so hot , you would have to go at night.
Since it is dark at night , you would probably get lost.

That truly would be trivial information, since there is no practical reason for us, at our current level of technology, to send a space shuttle to the sun.

you would not be able to get to the sun since it is hot there. think if it makes it hot 150 million kilometers away from us, think on how hot it is going there????????

Forever - you would never arrive. The shuttle would burn up way before you got there.
