He probably can, but you really need to speak with a lawyer. If your primary concern is the risk of a terrorist threat and the country is at a higher than average alert - then I would think you could have grounds not to allow them on flights. Personally, if it were my kids - I would do everything possible not to let this happen. I mean everyone is going to die sometime - but what an intense and horrific way to go - especially for a child.

It really depends on their ages as to them being able to fly alone, but overall, NO he cant make them fly without him being with them. You as the mother are supossed to keep your children safe from harm, and allowing them to fly alone without a parent or guardian isnt keeping them safe. I suggest you call the ex and explain that they are not willing to fly alone, and that you are not going to make them fly alone.
After all, it would actually be YOU that makes them get on the plane if your ex isn't there, not him.

You need to check your custody agreement. Is he allowed to take them out of state? Do the children have any say in their visitation? No one on Yahoo can answer this question, check your agreement, if it isn't listed there, call your attorney.

Depends on the divorce ruling. If he moved after the divorce and he wants to see them, then he needs to pay for their flight both ways.

Probably.
What do your papers say? How old are they? You didn't give any information.
