I live in Missouri, and the minimum wage here is $5.15 per hour.

We have just as many "poor" people as anywhere else.
They'd still be poor if they were making $20 an hour.. It's a mindset, a behaviour that keeps people in poverty.
I propose that the new minimum wage should be $39.50 an hour... WHY NOT?
Minimum wage laws are capricious and arbitrary.
