I bet the bicyclists are all illegal immigrants trying to avoid getting stopped by the police if they are driving.
Why they do it on the sidewalks, however, is beyond me.

You people in Orange County are strange. I see you on television every week. In jail, out of jail, knocked up, nuts I tell you, nuts! This is another example of 'strange'. Letting latino men ride their bikes on sidewalks. Here in South Florida, we all have to ride our Harleys on the street. What's this world coming to?

Because they're less likely to be run over by a car on the sidewalk than they would be in the street.

I'd bet it's because they can't afford to own a car. Car ownership is the 3rd most expensive thing we have to pay for nowadays...-after having children & owning a home. If you can go without one- you're saving a ton of money.
