i get small electric short when i giving iodine to my salt water tank.. and i found its from skimmer pumb.. how come the fishes still alive?? i just bought this pumb to replace the previous old pumb..

can anyone explain how could fish alive when the electric leaked into the water? although it just couse my hand a bit numb..

sorry double check already and confirmed its from the fan, not really sure how the fan can leaked the electric as its on the top of filter tank.. but i'd change it and the water is ok now..

unplug it and get a new one quick

The fish are on only on side of the circuit, they don't have a complete path that's why it's not affecting them.
But when you touch the water to give them the iodine, you must be touching or leaning on something else that completes the circuit. Could be the light, the pump, anything conductive nearby.
Have someone check this out, it could get dangerous if not corrected.
