i guess the Disney company noticed that the show Degrassi has become popular among many Americans (not just in Canada), so we see these characters from Degrassi as celebraties. meaning, Disney doesn't need to start from scratch. instead, the Disney company has absorbed these already-known Canadian celebraties to be able to profit more money.

Becuz there humans and they can do what ever they want. There good actrs and disney channel wants them so they can go act on disney channel if they want to.

because they are actors/actresses... they also have shown up on Lifetime in movies...
