The purpose of life is to have goals. There's always going to be something more than what you've got, that's worth attaining. I fear an existence free of the inspiration to improve.

Imagining life's goals fulfilled is like imagining the edge of the universe. Human motivation is infinite.

Sharing.

I really enjoy teaching and sharing, and that's what I'd do if all my goals were reached.

Actually, all my goals have been reached. I've had a great career, been CEO of a software company, raised a kid who's in med school, and am now retired and teaching people to knit part-time.

What more could anyone want?

I feel that after every desire fulfilled, there will surely be new ones that will replace them. It never ends. Once its fulfilled, you tend to enjoy it to the most, and then you start getting weary of the same thing, and look for new things to achieve.

But as you asked, ''if'' its all been fulfilled, and theres nothing left, perhaps I would sit back and enjoy the onces I have already fulfilled.

To begin with life is a journey & the journey itself is just as important as the goal. I believe it's the human condition to keep learning & passing what you've learned to those around you.
The purpose of my life is simply to be myself & enjoy.

Come up with new goals and continue experiencing as much as possible in my lifetime. The purpose of life (in my opinion) is to experience as much as possible.

To serve God and express my worship through actions, by living a life that is pleasing to him. Expanding his kingdom, doing the things he's called me to do. It's not all about me.
