i work in advertising. And for most parts poeple are not interested in the product. Its great to look at a nice ad, but many of them forget what product the ad is for. Advertising may remind you that the product is available, but 80% of the time, advertising has no influence on why the product is bought.

I have to buy what the man on television tells me to. And when another ad says not to, well thats when I get really confused.

there's a lot accessible that you would not note of had it no longer been for promoting; yet I take it with a grain of salt----oftentimes I basically purchase issues i fairly want no longer because somebody else tells me i need them---i'd not pay this form of money for Armani undies basically because David Beckham wears them---he's a tycoon!!

a lot actually... well maybe more of spokespeople. like if i see iverson wearin some cool shoes, i want them, if i saw peewee herman wearing them, id quit playin ball lol.
