I will be travelling around the areas of denver and colorado springs and would be grateful if anyone would let me know where are the snowy areas (for some skiing) during the summer season.

Only place I know of you can ski in the continental US during the summer is the Glacier on Mt. Hood in Oregon. It is open year round. Now if you want "fake" skiing there are some places that have roller skate like skis(seen it but no idea where) and similar contraptions to simulate skiing on the grassy summer hills. Many resorts run lifts in summer for downhill bicycling, or hiking, or sightseeing... and many have activities also like summer sledding (bobsled but on concrete course on sled with wheels) or other such things...

Go to the website of any resort to see what they offer in the summer.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area stays open into June, sometimes as late as July 4th. They also open early, in October, weather permitting. Other than that, no legal ski areas are open in the summer months.

No snow in the summer. But, some places (like Aspen) do run the chair lifts and you can ride it up and hike around or bike down. Even Pikes Peak doesn't have any snow in the summer, but it's still a beautiful place to visit!
