I think it's hypocrytical for christians to be the aggressor in any situation
They have the right to defend and use force
The question is who is the aggressor - in any conflict
The people or countries who wage war are only interested in accumulating and or protecting their wealth and power
The bible says: What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet suffers the loss of his soul

The only reason i can justifiably condone war is when a country or countries goes to the aid of a people being subjugated by an oppressive regime. Most of the other reasons have mainly been religiously disguised bullshit where one side just wants to take what the other one has in the name of god. Good thing is the aggressor usually loses, the bad thing is the people who started it or made all the nasty desision never really pay for blood on their hands. Why is it that most elected leaders(terror organisations included, dont see bin laden strapping a bomb to himself or his kids) are happy to lead their country and send millions to their deaths with bravado but would **** thier pants if anyone told them they had to fight on the front line.

Only Christian make wars? Where did you read that?...look at Sri Lanka....What about Myanmar? It is not religion that makes wars but the greed or self-serving purposes that create war. If your nation is attack, and you happen to be fighting Christians...then why were you attack...because of religion...No Way! There are other motives. You can blame the church for many things but other than things such as the Inquisition and using religion to dominate people...sorry it doesn't work. Japan attacked China during the Manchurian Invasion...bet there wasn't a single Christian in the lot. Ever hear of Atilla, or how about Ghenghis Khan? Place the blame where it belongs...on MONEY.

The Lord said " I HAVE NOT COME TO BRING PEACE TO THE EARTH, BUT A SWORD!
Jesus came to let us know that there is salvation from our wicked ways. No one can withstand the power of a rightious cause. Christianity does not wage war, war is a manmade tool. These so called Islamic extremist should not be refer to as Muslims, They are a perverted, corrupted form of what a true Muslim should be, These terrorists will be exposed and destroyed becuase their cause is a Satanic cause. They poison the worlds view of Islam.

It is a dubious thing to quote the bible. There are a lot of quotes. What is remarkable is how many people who imagine themselves Christians and prefer to quote the Old Testament over Christ himself. You wrote that "They [Christians] have the right to use force." Christ said, "Do not resist an evil person." This does not seem to condone violent responses at all. The Christian faith is the most difficult. People like it becaus of its philosophical power, but they will actually do what is convenient and expedient.

He profits the whole world... kinda hard to believe god missed that one.

Anyway, war is about THE worst answer to any problem. It neither is / nor was EVER justified, it is simply a politicians method of gaining something they want without sacrificing anything themselves. War simply lets the ignorant shed their blood for the political leader's ends.

Is it justifiable to wage war at any age or religion?
As a matter of fact war is "always justified" ... there is always a "reason for".
You plead for peace and next day you will strike some guy you don't like or is annoying you.
I don't believe man will ever stop to go to war.

I think it is especially justifiable for Christians to do so at this moment because as a Christian I believe the end of the world is coming soon and I want to stand up and fight against the evil that's sweeping this world.

Defending can require being proactive rather than reactive. Not all wars are to gain land or power, some are to preserve freedom or a peoples way of life or life itself.
It can be argued either way, but if you were to ask a Jew who was in a concentration camp,,,, I think you know the answer.
