I don't agree with the capital punishment part, but flogging and corporal punishment I'd agree with. For example, I think repeat child molesters should be neutered.

Disagree that jails are stupid; think they're needed; but, should be rehabilitational, not warehouses.
I would disagree with capital punishment, if I thought the end of this life was the end; but, since, I know there is no such thing as death--only transition, I think it's not such a big thing for the person who dies, if those who judged made a mistake, since it transcends her/him to the next world, which is as much better from this world, as this world is than the womb world.
I disagree with ritual flogging, or ritual, period.

There is a lot more going on in Saudi Arabia than beheading in the public square. Arabia is a Muslim country and the Arabs take their religion seriously. I think that this is a much more significant cause of lawfulness there than particular forms of punishment. Of course, there is some lawlessness, and the punishment is swift (that's part of the answer) and severe.

maximum victims of crime may desire vengeance for being violated, even with the undeniable fact that the justice equipment is there to get rid of the criminals from society and placed them in an section the position they couldn't reason damage anymore. This in itself actually have the act of deterring will be criminals. Zim it may take a couple of minutes or seconds to kill or sexually attack someone and in no way see you later as a housebreaking, yet those 2 crimes are in my books a ways extra severe and could be punished therefore with a extra severe punishment than say for robbery on my own..

I totally agree, except that the mandate for handing out such punishments would never be approved, since: 1)it's too simple-the goverment HATES simple. 2) think of how many people would be unemployed, from builders of jails, to jail guards/cooks/janitors/wardens.... also the size of police forces would be greatly reduced, as well as the amount of judges, and lawyers. So, as nice as it sounds- no, it will never happen in this country.

We make too much use of incarceration and not enough
use of other punishments including corporal punishments

I agree that we should exterminate people with a record of crime. No use of them being allowed to walk on this planet and continue to adversely impact innocent lives.

You forget Saudi Arabia has no freedom. Women are property. Can only worship in one way.
