I know this was stupid, I regret it, but would appreciate an honest opinion.

On day 7 of my cycle (day after my period ended), during foreplay, my fiance put himself inside of me for at most, 10 seconds - unprotected. There was no ejaculation and pretty sure no pre-ejaculation yet either. Everything stopped there, there was no sex following this.

Just to be safe, I took Plan B about 40hrs after this took place. About a week after I took it, i bled heavy just like my normal period. I figured it was probably the side effect ( the pill shedding my lining so the egg could not plant). I was due on the 15 of this month and havent gotten it yet. I heard the strong dose of hormones could've caused me to skip my period.

Also, I have been stressing out about this a lot, and also about school. So I dont know if this could've made me be late also.

I would like to know what you think my chances are that im pregnant, or if its my mind or the pills messing me up. Thanks

It's true - the strong hormones can cause you to skip a period.
The last time we went on vacation I did not want my period (which was due) so I took birth control pills to stop it.
Don't worry. You will get it next month.

If you used the correct doage, emergency contraception taken within 72 hours is extremely effective. For future protection, please consider having it on hand for little exposures like this because the sooner taken the more effective. It's virtually 100% if taken within one hour.

It doesn't matter whether you thought there was preejaculate or not. The sperm are far too tiny to see, and it doesn't take many to get your pregnant. If you are using condoms, they need to go on at the beginning of foreplay.

Stress alone can certainly make your periods irregular, and it is likely that and the large hormone dose are causing the irregularity but there is a small risk you could be pregnant. As others have suggested, you should take a pregnancy test and repeat in a week if you haven't begun a cycle. Treat yourself as if you are pregnant in the meantime. No drugs or alcohol and eat a good diet, which will be beneficial regardless.

If you go another month. plan to see your doctor.

Don't beat yourself up too much for having been human: after all, you knew what to do. But do let this be a bit of a "wake-up" moment for you about always using protection. There are far worse things you can catch than a pregnancy.

Yes, definitely, the stress PLUS the pills will cause that to happen.

Just try to relax and if it would help, get a home pregnancy test.

They are as accurate as the ones WE use in the medical field.
I'm an RN.

You COULD be pregnant but probably not. The odds are WAY against it.

Once you shed your lining, ANY fertilized egg would have come out with it. It would be a miracle if a fertilized egg survived that.

If this happened the day after you period stopped then you can not get pregnant! There is a safe cycle before and after you period of 7 days during this time there is no fertilised egg there to accidentally fall pregnant (provided it happens closer to the day of your period). So i can assure you if this definitely happened the day after your period, you are well and surely NOT pregnant.

Now if this happened seven days after a period then you have a great chance of falling pregnant..... A little thing to realise is that seaman are very sneaky and they can live in your body for 3 days after sex, so sometimes you think you are in the safe zone of 7 days after sex, but you have sex say on the 5 day, you can still get pregnant because the seaman will swim around in your uterus until your egg is ready for reproducing!

Hope this info helps!

I would count 28 days from the date that the bleeding started after you took plan B. However, after pregnancy your normal cycle may not jump right back to normal. After my pregnancies sometimes I got mine back after 4 weeks other times after 6 weeks. I personally don't think that you were pregnant but that the pills threw your cycle off track.

You are probably fine. Stress most likely. Too make yourself feel better go pick up a generic pregnancy test from wal-mart or wherever. They are like three bucks for a single test. Then you will be able to breathe easy.
