It sounds like you are a bit soul sick, in addition to broken hearted. I don't think that is love. I think it is closer to despair.
Love very simply is caring more about what the other person thinks and feels than yourself. If she is happy not being with you - and you love her - then you shouldn't have a problem with that. Because if you love her, you want her to be happy - if she is happy, you should be happy. If you are only upset at not having her around for your happiness, then you do not truly love her anyway.
When we are young we tend to feel things very intensely - and that is normal, because it is all so new. When we are young, love seems like an endless road of extreme highs and extreme lows. It could be a hormonal issue, it could be too much sugar in our diets, frankly.
When a relationship ends it is normal to greive, but we must nurture ourselves and move on. The new is always better than the old and true love is a very valuable and stable thing that lasts a long, long time - and gives you the strength and courage to live life to it's fullest.
Peace, my friend. Try taking long walks, meditating, riding a bike, yoga - whatever you can do that kind of seperates your mind and body a bit so your brain can process this relationship a little more comfortably for you. There is time enough for everything - but most especially for love. Take care and take heart - this too will pass.
Peace!

Love is just a human emotion. Sorry sweety there are no answers for this one, everyone will have different opinions but the truth is Love is just a feeling---it can make you angry, happy, confused, sad, lonely, jealous all in the blink of an eye. The key is finding someone who stabilizes the feeling of "LIKE" for you.

Love is not supposed to hurt.....but sometimes it does. Love can
bring us up...and make us feel great. And love can bring us
down in the dumps. Love is supposed to make us happy. So,
if your more happy than sad...then stick it out. But if you feel
bad more, then go find the right kind of love for you. Good Luck.

Love is when the person walks into the room you smile for no reason, you feel butterflies in your stomach and shivers over your body. Love is when that person sits beside you, you feel their presence inside and out. When you smell their smell it stays with you until the next time you meet. Love is when all you can think about is the next time you can talk to the person, till the next time you can see them. Love is when the person hugs you good bye you feel their imprint of their body on yours until you next meet. Lovee is when the person kisses you, you feel their kiss until the next time you kiss. Love is when the person is gone you feel like somone just wrenched a piece of your soul out of you. Love is when you see that person again you feel such a great, emense, amount of emotion that you cry tears of joy. Love is when you can't stop thinking about the next time you two meet. And love is when you feel connected, love its when the person reaches your heart and when they captivate it. Love is a great poison. Love... love is unexplainable...
God bless.

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
