You have a malfunctioning Idle Air Control valve. It is a common problem. The IAC valve controls air flow to the engine when your foot is off of the gas and the throttle plate is closed. It is not a major repair.

sounds like you may have an idle control solenoid bad, make sure the throttle is closing all the way or a vacuum line off, if those check out ok , then check your coolant temperature sensor, if the coolant temperature sensor is bad, or bad wire connector to sensor, it will tell the computer that the engine is cold and it will stay in a open loop till it achieves warm up and cause a fast idle

Does it die once you press the gas pedal?? if so, sounds like you've a clogged gas filter out, or per chance even gas pump, on the speedy, if thats the case, i might want to depress the pin on the gas rail (appears like a port you would positioned air in on a tire), and make positive you've a extreme flow shoot out (you ought to target it with a rigidity guage, yet no longer absolutely everyone has one laying below thier seat). Thats my first wager on the restricted files you gave. If it really is no longer once you press the gas pedal, i might want to examine to make positive all of your plug wires are pushed in tight, i have had a pair over the years come out, and searching on firing trend, can offset the firing and reason it to die. Theres a great number of person-pleasant little issues it could be, and dozens of sensors, want more desirable direct enter to furnish a more desirable helpful wager.
