You are absolutely correct. Iran has stated it desires to enrich uranium for energy purposes which is its right under the NPT.. while N.Korea is NOT a member of the NPT and has stated it is making nuclear weapons.

Once again... a double standard.

I think we all know this is a war on Islam that makes the difference.

no one forgot korea. Korea was a testing platform to see what would happen if it shot a nuke. Iran influences other countries in case you have limited knowledge. Iran is interested in how much they can get away with. Korea has sanctions. Iran is just power hungry for money and oil and power. They have no knowledge what to do with the power for good of the people only to control other economies with large oil prices. They have a philosophy of hatred which ignites violence when influencing desperate people.
They offer nothing for the good of mankind. So it want iran stop nuke bomb>

its not talked about on the news much but alot of experts think iran might already have purchased a nuke or two from abroad. Also it would be very hard to stop iran now that they have progressed their program to "operational" status .... blowing up an operational uranium enrichment operation would send clouds of radioactive dust into the atmosphere wiping out a large numbers of civilians and creating a massive humanitarian crisis alienating the US from its allies even more....also , any attack on iran would immediately be thought of by them as implicating israel and im sure israel would get invloved .... and that would open pandoras box ...nuclear exchanges could take place .... not to mention iran would most likely be able to tie up all oil from exiting the gulf region by targeting tankers with its chinese and soviet supplied antiship missles for weeks or months ... the global economy would be in jeopardy ... so stopping them may be close to impossible at this point .... but knowing bush he might just go for it anyway.

No. The United States government has not forgotten the nuclear problem with North Korea. It reached an impasse several months ago, and now it is just not in the news very much. One of the political problems with the protracted "insurgency" in Iraq is that the U.S. has lost a lot of its legitimacy and prestige. The U.S. does not have so many options in dealing with rogues anymore. As a result N. Korea and Iraq are the new entrants into the exclusive nuclear club. There will be more entrants too. The world is in a whole lot of trouble!
